The scissor-type hand-cranked mechanism SCH offers an inexpensive method of building a two- or four-legged height-adjustable table.
The assembly of this system is very straightforward in that the mechanism simply has to be mounted between the tabletop and leg frame.
Moreover, the advantage of the scissor-type mechanism is the fact that there is no need for the insertion of a shaft in the table legs.
