Hardware for Tables
Mechnisms to raise or extent tables are constructed so they can be built-in separately or together. We have a wide variety of different mechanisms available, so you can choose whatever design fits the line of tables you manufacture. Our table mechanisms are computer-engineered and precision manufactured to superior standards (ISO 9000), while still offering competitive prices to the North American market.
These unique mechanisms are patented by their manufacturer. A 1-year warranty is included. Our company, G&G Trade Corp., is the exclusive North American distributor of these products.
LIFT MECHANISMS ...are available as GAS-CYLINDER-LIFT and CRANK versions.
- GAS-LIFT means that we have built in a shock or gas-pressure-lift, which helps you raise the table top like the trunk or hatch-back of your car. You may release the brake and the top slides up until you apply the break again.
- The CRANK is quite different. You crank the table top up and down. Cranking is the rotation of a handle much like a manual car jack. Since the gear mechani
sm is well constructed you don't feel the weight of the table top while you crank nor will the gear wear out.
Both of our lift versions operate very smoothly even when asymmetric pressure is applied.
PULLOUT EXTENSIONS ...for a New Generation can lengthen the table by up to 20 inches.
All you do is simply release the catch and pull the front half of the table. In this way, the two halves of the table move out synchronous to each other and the centre insert ("hidden" leaf) is elevated automatically. The patented locking device pulls the two halves of the tabletop against the centre insert, thus preventing any unsteadiness which usually otherwise occurs.
